We are pleased to invite you to the ACCC 2027 Annual Meeting, taking place May 5 - 7, 2026, at the historic InterContinental Chicago.
The State of the Art: Insurance Coverage and Litigation in 2027
Insurance coverage law is entering an era in which the most consequential questions can no longer be answered simply by applying yesterday’s policy language to today’s loss. Emerging AI, evolving cyber risks, climate-driven catastrophes, social inflation, nuclear verdicts, shifting regulatory regimes, and increasingly sophisticated insurance products are fundamental forces reshaping both insured risks and the disputes that follow.
At the ACCC 2027 Annual Meeting, we will examine the state of the art in insurance coverage and litigation—offering not just a forward-looking view of the questions that will define sophisticated practice in the years ahead, but a practical lens on how we advise clients and litigate today.
The conference planning committee is now accepting panel proposals.
Only Fellows of the College may be included as panelists, apart from judges or professors. We encourage submitters to provide a full slate of diverse presenters, though the planning committee can assist you in filling vacancies. Please refer to the ACCC Speaker Reimbursement policy regarding related expenses.

Fellow Guest Registration = $275 (Includes cocktail receptions & dinner only)
Registrations completed after 4/26/2027 will not be included in printed event materials.
Hotel Accommodations:
Discounted room rates at the Intercontinental Chicago for the ACCC 2027 Annual Meeting are $329 per night, plus applicable taxes: 17% state/local tax + 1.5% Tourism Improvement District (TID) tax. Attendees can book at the room rate 2 days pre and post conference. The cutoff date for booking in the room block is Tuesday, April 13, 2027 at 5:00 PM CT (all rooms are subject to sell out prior to this date). Use this link to book online or contact the Reservations Department at 312-321-8895 and identify yourself as an attendee of the ACCC 2027 Annual Conference to receive the special group rate. Guests must cancel their reservations 72 hours prior to arrival or the first night’s room and tax will be charged.
Attention:

Cancellation Policy:
Conference registration cancellations received before 5:00 pm CT on Tuesday, April 13, 2027, may be refunded, less a 25% processing fee. No refunds can be issued for cancellations received after this deadline. Hotel room reservations must be cancelled by calling the hotel's reservation line at 312-321-8895.Refunds cannot be issued for no-shows or missed travel logistics.
